My philosophy of healthcare is to treat every patient I have with respect and compassion. Many times I have observed healthcare professionals talking down to their patients and not being compassionate in their care. I realized that I do not want to be that way. When patients come to the hospital, they are usually in some type of distress, some physical and some mental. I want to be the type of nurse that can attend to their physical, as well as their psychological needs. I want to encourage those that may need encouraging and be the sounding board for those who may need for just someone to listen. And that is my philosophy of healthcare.
