Every since I was little my parents allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds or situations. Most had gone through difficult events in their life and they were so eager to find someone to connect with. In my philosophy of healthcare class I learned that no matter how different someone may seem to be, you can always find a commonality of brokenness; which enables you to create a personal relationship with them. God calls us to treat everyone equally and to the best of our abilities. My philosophy is to provide a holistic approach to healthcare by showing compassion, empathy, and always giving the best care regardless of a patients background.Updated: April 23, 2013 - 1:29pm - by Yvette Saliba
