Transcript

My philosophy of healthcare is to treat each patient with respect and compassion. To always remember that every patient has a back story. To try not to judge each patient. To listen to my patients and remember that they may be telling me something that is not showing up as a symptom. To tell my patient that I am there to help them get better, instead of telling them, “I know how they feel.” To try and remember my patients name and something personal about them. To put myself in my patients shoes to see how they feel in order to be more understanding. To speak to my patients and their families with terms they can understand. To always remember that laughter does help the healing process. To treat each patient as if they were my grandfather.
