Philosophy of Healthcare means to me it is a variety of views on wholeness, values, illness, suffering, and pain. Each view is different. They are all opinions, but it is what we do as health professionals that count. It is how we use our sources around us and the obstacles we go through that we use to make us stronger as individuals and healthcare providers. It is using God as our guide to help us make decisions. After making decisions we learn from them, and we use them as knowledge. I have learned that cure and heal are not the same. To cure takes knowledge of treatment and to heal comes from within. It is to make whole restoration of the spirit of mind. Along with healing and curing comes a cognitive theory we use it here at Florida Hospital College. I have learned that belief is the only thing that you have 100% control over and no one can take this away. This class has taught me the value of individuals for who they are as a child of God and to look past all other things.
