To sum up my philosophy of healthcare I want to use my good friend Jo. She’s going into a profession where her main job is to fix the brokenness of others. I choose her because her overall nature as a person is to help others, which I believe is a great portrayal of man’s nature. She also portrays brokenness because she’s going through a really tough time, which I never could picture because of her personality and how she is. She’s the last person you would think anything is wrong. Lastly I see value of man through her actions. She values the wellbeing of others so much, especially emotionally, even though she herself may be broken, she always without a doubt puts others before herself for the sole purpose of helping those in need. All in all Jo’s selflessness is my philosophy of healthcare. Regardless of what field in healthcare one chooses Jo’s example of selflessness is a great example to follow. Whether it be administering health to others, running a department or even valet parking. Helping others with selflessness is my ideal philosophy of healthcare.Updated: January 11, 2011 - 12:27pm - by Yvette Saliba
