My philosophy of Healthcare isn’t shaped by a heartfelt story. It isn’t profound or deep. It didn’t take me years of research to discover. In fact, my Philosophy of Healthcare is quite simple. It is centered on compassion. The word itself means to suffer with. Jesus Christ was the ultimate example of compassion. He came to this earth and took upon himself all the sickness and shame. If I can emulate even a small fraction of Christ’s compassion, I may be able to bring hope to my patients, like Jesus brought hope to me.
