Service-Learning Requirements for Graduation

General Degree Requirements: Associate of Science

Students receiving an Associates of Science degree must completion of 30 hours of Service-Learning. Community service projects and hours must be approved and validated by the University Chaplain. Service-Learning is part of the curriculum in selected courses and is validated by the teachers of those courses and by the department in which those courses are taught.

General Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Science

Students receiving a Bachelor of Science completion degree (such as the Radiologic Sciences or Nursing degrees) must complete 30 hours of Service-Learning. Students in the four-year Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences program must complete 60 hours of Service-Learning. Service-Learning projects and hours must be approved and validated by the University Chaplain. Service-Learning is part of the curriculum in selected courses and is validated by the teachers of those courses and by the department in which those courses are taught.
